Anandaminde is a cannabinoid found naturally in the human body. It is the key (called an agonist) to open the cannabinoid 1 lock (kown as a CB1 receptor) found predominantly in the central nervous system, and the cannabinoid 2 lock (known as a CB1 receptor) found most commonly in the immune system. It switches on CB1 and CB2 receptors affecting the fuctioning of cells.
